Arvon Residential Writing Week: Screenwriting Work-in-Progress - Moving your project forward with Samm Haillay and Sophie Mathisen
Mon 14 Oct 2024 to Fri 18 Oct 2024
Are you working on a feature film screenplay and find yourself stuck with how to move it forward? Have you received conflicting feedback and forgotten the heart of your project? Do you feel as if you’re going round in circles and getting nowhere fast? If your answer is “yes” to any or all of the above, this is the week for you.

Join award-winning writer and script executive Sophie Mathisen and award-winning producer Samm Haillay for a week designed to unlock the potential of your project. You’ll immerse yourself in workshops covering the key building blocks of structure, character development and dialogue, as well exploring where and how your project fits into the market place and how to best pitch your project and yourself.

You are invited to submit a one paragraph synopsis of your project, one paragraph on you and your writing/screen industry background and up to 10 pages of your script by no later than Thursday 26th September.
