How do we look after ourselves when we tackle different subject matter in our writing? How do we ensure that we don't retraumatise ourselves when we work on memoir or personal narrative writing?
This two-hour workshop will provide you with practical ideas for taking care of yourself during the writing process. We will look at techniques for during and after writing, meditation, brainstorming, cut-up poetry and more. The workshop will be a combination of exercises and discussion space.
Open to all skill levels and writers and artists across all mediums and platforms.
