Birmingham Literature Festival 2024 Programme Announced!

We are thrilled to announce this year's festival programme which includes multiple writing workshops, a discussion & networking event for writers, a masterclass on publishing, an event announcing the new Birmingham Poets Laureate and an eclectic mix of author events.
This year is particularly special as it's the festival's 25th anniversary. Since 1999, we've hosted thousands of events and workshops, bringing people together to celebrate outstanding writers and thought-provoking literature. To mark this milestone, we are delighted to offer every ticketholder a free copy of a special anthology that celebrates Birmingham's past, present, and future.
This year, we are offering many events which are completely free to attend. All other events are £8 to £10 per person, with concession rates available and a free carer ticket for anyone who needs it. Our workshops remain £15 per taught hour, with bursaries available.
