Now in its 26th year, Birmingham Literature Festival has become one of the most vibrant and diverse festivals in the Midlands, drawing thousands of visitors from across the country.

This year’s festival runs from the 9th - 18th October 2025 and is all about our connection to history, places and people. It features a stellar lineup of award-winning authors, emerging voices, poets, activists, philosophers and more including extra partners events, experiences and official BLF merchandise (for the first time ever!)
