City Lit Advanced Critical Workshop For Creative Writers

A supportive but rigorous workshop for those with substantial experience in novel and short story writing. High level of writing skills required

Mary Flanagan is an Irish-American writer living in London. Her three novels (Trust, Rose Reason and Adele) and two collections of short stories (Bad Girls and The Blue Woman) have been widely and well received and translated into eight languages.

Mary has taught creative writing at the University of East Anglia, Leicester University, Birkbeck University, The Arvon Foundation and the Skyros Centre in Greece. She has been a Royal Literary Fund Writing Fellow at the University of Leicester. Her literary criticism and features have appeared in all major newspapers. She currently reviews for The Independent and is at work on another collection of short stories.
