A friendly and interactive series of masterclasses for writers who want to explore craft and process in writing while learning about the business of publishing.
Recommended readings and exercises are sent a week in advance, and after class you'll also receive a workbook packed with notes, resources, and writing experiments to try at your own pace and help you develop your instincts as a writer.
Future classes will cover: prose style; point of view; showing and telling; genre and readership; and endings. Earlier classes on beginnings and voice will be repeated at a future date.
Experienced writers as well as beginners are welcome.
Masterclasses are led by Andrew Wille, a veteran editor and writing teacher with a particular interest in mindful and holistic approaches to creativity.
