CREATIVE LAB GROUP: Twitter for Beginners - Getting Started
Wed 19 Nov 2014 to Wed 19 Nov 2014
Do you panic when people ask you about Twitter? Do hashtags and handles scare you off?

Have you yet to grasp how you as a creative could benefit from tweeting? If your answer is yes to these questions this is the perfect opportunity for you to get to grips with this social media platform.

SAF is organising a small group 2-hour long workshop for creatives on Wednesday 19th November 2014 at 6.30pm-8.30pm in Bermondsey.

This beginners’ workshop will explain

  • Introduction to Twitter
  • Why be on Twitter
  • Elements of a Tweet
  • Choosing content
  • How to gain followers

The participants are encouraged to bring their handheld devices – mobile phones or tablets to engage with the content throughout the session and put the training straight into practice.

Our previous workshop participants have been from a wide range of creative areas from jewellery design to film and from individual artists to small creative companies.

This session is run by Emily Benet – a writer and social media enthusiast.
