Our Creative Writes Walk & Writes Workshops focus on a different North London treasure each month. We walk & write in heritage sites, museums, parks, along canals, woods, wetlands and libraries. Our June 2026 Walk & Write Workshop is in Hendon Park, North London.
Over the past few years, these have included; Highgate & Queens Wood, Parkland Walk, Ally Pally Lake, Park, Theatre & Exhibitions; Regent’s Canal & King/s Cross; Kenwood House & Hampstead Heath; Lauderdale House & Waterlow Park; Whittington Park, Arnos Grove & Viaduct; Oliver Tambo Park; Cherry Tree Wood & East Finchley and Burgh House.
On Sunday 28 June 2026 (11am-1pm), we look forward to welcoming you to Hendon Park, North London, NW4 – a peaceful North London oasis boasting beautiful trees, a memorial garden, a cafe that was previously a WW2 bomb shelter and more!
Nichola will share her research with you and guide you through a series of free flow writes with no critique.

The workshop fee for Walk & Write is £30.
Our Creative Writes groups are small & supportive and we are a very welcoming community. You don't need to prepare anything beforehand, that's my job!
