Creative Writing for Therapists workshop with Susan Mayfield

A practical, hands-on writing workshop for counsellors, psychotherapists and art therapists led by writer, psychotherapist and experienced writer-facilitator Susan Mayfield, writing and optional sharing in a small, confidential group of fellow therapists.
The workshop will explore:
- Writing playfully for relaxation and a chance to recharge and replenish.
- Writing reflectively for self-care and to deepen therapeutic work
- Writing mindfully, as a portal to fresh thinking about participants’ clinical caseloads
It will include structured, inviting exercises, space for silent writing and optional sharing in a small, confidential group of fellow therapists.
Workshop leader Susan Mayfield is a BACP accredited and BPC Registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist in private practice. An experienced writing facilitator and published writer, she uses writing therapeutically within her clinical work and has been writer-in-residence in a number of healthcare and community setting.
The event will take place in a calm, spacious, well-ventilated first floor room accessed by stairs. Please note that unfortunately there is no lift access.
