Creative Writing Inspired by the Surrealists - A One-Day Course at Scottish national Gallery of Modern Art

Work and play at using the art of Surrealism as a starting point for writing. Experiment with techniques including automatic writing, random juxtaposition of words, or using found and altered text

Saturday, 25th June 2016, 10.30am-4pm 

Read some Surrealist poetry. Think about how dreams influence art and writing. Includes exercises, prompts, discussion and constructive feedback. Write poetry, fiction or memoir. Led by writer Helen Boden and suitable for all levels of experience.
