Creative Writing @ Lunchtime: taught writing course
Tue 29 Sep 2020 to Tue 16 Feb 2021
The course, which is taught via Zoom, is ideal for all levels of interest in creative writing and critical analysis. Current and former students have found the course to be a great way to help enhance writing abilities, improve lateral thinking skills, and boost their confidence. The classes are taught by Tes Noah Asfaw and co-teacher Richard Kemp.

About the teacher:
Tes is a lecturer and tutor at Stanford University in Oxford, where he teaches creative writing (fiction, nonfiction, playwriting) and film studies to Stanford undergraduates on residency in Oxford and a guest lecturer for the University of Oxford's Diploma in Creative Writing. He also teaches secondary school students around the country for Villiers Park Educational Trust. Tes has a Masters in Creative Writing from the University of Oxford and he is a professional screenwriter. He has had short stories and poems published, and he’s completing his first novel. Past clients of his Creative Writing at Lunchtime course include staff at Taylor & Francis and Oxford University Press, both in Oxfordshire.

About the co-teacher:
Richard works in publishing and is currently studying part-time for a Masters in Creative Writing (predicted distinction) at the University of Gloucestershire. Richard has published work with music and science magazines and was the fiction editor of the University’s annual anthology. He has taught students in secondary schools and at Taylor & Francis.

We look forward to seeing you.
