Writing is a solitary craft, but the development of that craft doesn't have to be. If you’re spending days, if not weeks, stuck in a rut with your literary project, having a mentor or developmental editor there to offer expert guidance, advice or to just bounce ideas off has many benefits.
As a Creative Writing mentor, I can provide personalised feedback on your work, assist with redrafts, and will work with you to ensure your prose achieves both technical precision and creative maturity.
If what you need is help with the development of a particular project, whether it is a work of fiction, an academic piece, or memoir, I can work with you towards its completion and eventual publication.
A PhD in Creative Writing, I have recently published my debut short story collection, Young Mancunians, and have also had poetry published in numerous anthologies and online magazines. In the last year, I have worked with a diverse clientele of aspiring authors, from psychotherapists working on academic pieces and therapy books, to retiree’s seeking guidance in the writing of memoirs, all of which have been published.
