Mark Gatiss is never one to shy away from being scared out of his wits. Join him for a week of horror writing in the thrilling 14th Century setting of Dartington Hall to create some terrifying tales. Apply by 5th October.

Mark Gatiss is never one to shy away from scaring viewers out of their wits. His dark humour appears throughout his stellar writing career, with credits including the League of Gentlemen, Sherlock, Dracula, and many others.

In this course, we are delighted to offer you the opportunity to join Mark and other tutors for a week of horror writing in the rather thrilling 14th century setting of Dartington Hall – and to create some terrifying tales of your own..

On this five-day course you’ll be with a group of writers, working with two tutors, from Monday to Thursday. Each morning the tutors lead workshops to help you explore ideas, forms and techniques. Afternoons are your time for writing and one-to-one tutorials to consider your writing in depth.

This is a residential course - you'll stay on-site and all your accommodation and meals are included.
