Just ten days to go! Hive Young Writers Festival is a jam-packed day of word-based happenings for young & emerging writers from across the north. The festival is a chance to network, work with and get advice from professional writers, other young writers, perform & of course… write!
We’re talking 100+ young writers under one roof enjoying workshops, panel discussions & advice sessions with a wide range of writers, from novelists to poets, playwrights to industry professionals. There’ll also be a number of free one-to-one advice sessions you can book with professional writers on the day.
Workshops and talks will span everything from fiction and video game-writing, to performance and poetry, and advice from publishers and about careers.
It's for everyone from hobby writers to those with serious career interests spanning all writing forms aged 14 to 25 years of age, with a smaller number of tickets for 25-30s.
