LiteratureWorks are once again partnering with Writers’ & Artists’ Yearbook to bring the popular How to Get Published day conference back to Bristol on Saturday 4 October 2025 at the Engine Shed (next to Bristol Temple Meads Station).
This day of networking and enrichment is a must for all wishing to learn more about the world of publishing from those who know it best, including writers, agents and editors.
Hear from established writers as they share essential advice on developing your craft as a writer and working towards publication. Plus two dedicated panels across the day will provide opportunities for you to hear from a selection of agents who will demystify the submission process, and also a selection of publishers and editors who will talk you through a range of possible routes to publication as well as answering your questions.
Speakers will include Costa winning novelist Claire Fuller (Unsettled Ground, The Memory of Animals), and literary agent Juliet Pickering (Blake Friedmann), Jade Chandler (publishing director at the literary crime imprint Baskerville), an experienced agent and rights manager Kate Johnson – with more to be announced.
Date: Saturday 4 October 2025
Location: Engine Shed, Bristol
Cost: £95 (including a networking lunch) Discount available
