Kent and Sussex Writing and Wellbeing Network: Writing, Healing and Deep Ecology

The next meeting of the Kent and Sussex Writing and Wellbeing Network takes place on Saturday 19th January at The Beaney, Canterbury. Please bring ONE book on natural or ecological themes that has been important to you – a poetry collection, novel, memoir or non-fiction – for a series of mini-presentations.

After the break, we will make a visit to the exhibition next door for some ekphrastic writing.

Date: Saturday 19th January 2019, 10am-1pm

Location: The Beaney, Canterbury (The Beaney has has kindly offered the use of the Learning Lab on the top floor of the Beaney House of Art and Knowledge.)  

Cost: Free but booking essential – victoria@thepoetrypractice.co.uk Please consider making a donation to the Beaney at the exhibition.

If you would like to have lunch nearby in the Olive Branch, please confirm before Friday 18th so we can book a table.

Kent and Sussex Writing and Wellbeing Network is a network of people involved in writing for wellbeing across Sussex and Kent. We run workshops, talks and share information.

Criteria for joining: you must live or work in Sussex or Kent, be involved, or want to become involved, in using words for wellbeing with others, and have a commitment to the development of professional good practice in words for wellbeing.
