11.30am - 12.30pm | Sir John Lister-Kaye

Cambo House | £5 when you quote: ENFDBF5

One of Scotland and the UK’s most eminent naturalists and environmentalists, John Lister-Kaye writes exquisitely of the nature he observes through the seasons. From his acclaimed Song of The Rolling Earthto At The Water’s Edge he opens our eyes to the riches around us.

1pm - 2pm | Esther Woolfson & Conor Mark Jameson

Birds all around us… Esther Woolfson wrote brilliantly about living with birds in Corvus, and now closely observes the urban wildlife and birdlife of Aberdeen where she lives. Leading RSPB naturalist, Conor Mark Jameson, asks whether we are becoming a land without birdsong, while his new book is about the mysteriously elusive goshawk.

4pm - 5pm | Patrick Barkham and Miriam Darlington

Cambo House | £5 when you quote: ENFDBF5

Otters and badgers: elusive and emblematic creatures of our countryside. Guardian journalist, Patrick Barkham, goes in search of badgers, having previously embarked on tracking down all 59 species of the UK’s butterflies. Miriam Darlington is also on a quest and describes, in luminous prose, her travels in search of otters and otter stories.

2:30pm - 5pm | Creative Writing Workshop with Linda Cracknell

Cambo House and Estate | £10 when you quote: ENFDBF10

Join experienced author and tutor, Linda Cracknell, in a workshop including forays outdoors into the beautiful Cambo Estate. This workshop is aimed at both new and experienced writers and will inspire you to explore your own associations with landscape through writing.
