Make it look good: Blog and website design with Chris Horkan
Tue 17 Jun 2014 to Tue 17 Jun 2014
Manchester writing organisation Openstories hosts a workshop series in June and July aimed at emerging writers and bloggers looking to take their work to the next level

Session 1. Make it look good: Blog and website design with Chris Horkan

Join us to learn how to give your blog a facelift or make your online presence more original. We’ll talk about using free platforms like WordPress, Blogger and Tumblr to create an eye-catching blog or a professional-standard website to serve as a home for your writing, publications, news and bio – or improve the one you have. Please note that attendees should bring their own laptops; a few computers may be provided if needed; email kate@openstories.org to make enquiries.

Workshop leader Chris Horkan is a director of Openstories and runs Manchester-based web development agency OH Digital whose clients include the Royal Exchange, Cornerhouse, Manchester Craft & Design Centre and The Big Issue. He’s a former journalist, and part-time concert promoter.
