Must You Live In The Real World? is a playful, experimental creative writing course exploring imagination, fiction, and creative freedom through bold contemporary stories, strange prompts, and small creative missions.

Across four live sessions, participants will generate surprising new work in a relaxed, non-traditional environment—no sharing required.

Open to writers of all levels, with proceeds supporting writing programmes for incarcerated and post-incarcerated women in Louisiana through the Disaster School project.

Dates: Starts June 22nd 2026 and runs fortnightly for four sessions until August 3rd; all sessions recorded
