Must You Live In The Real World? is a playful, experimental creative writing course exploring imagination, fiction, and creative freedom through bold contemporary stories, strange prompts, and small creative missions. Facilitator: Sarah Byrne.
Across four live sessions, participants will generate surprising new work in a relaxed, non-traditional environment—no sharing required.
Open to writers of all levels, with proceeds supporting writing programmes for incarcerated and post-incarcerated women in Louisiana through the Disaster School project.
Dates: Starts June 22nd 2026 and runs fortnightly for four sessions until August 3rd; all sessions recorded
