New Writing North : How to Prepare Your Submission: Q&A with Ben Clark, Soho Agency

This interactive talk will take you through the process of submitting to a literary agent.

Soho Agency’s Ben Clark will run a practical session on how to prepare a your submission and that all important covering letter, as well as answering any of your questions about the agenting process.

Ben is a director and agent at the Soho Agency and represents a diverse range of academics, novelists, chefs, activists and people with interesting stories. Ben loves non-fiction of all kinds - narrative, prescriptive, or illustrated. Anything that explores the world we live in and helps us understand it. He is drawn to the strange and unusual, stories from the fringes that need to be seen by the mainstream or different perspectives on established narratives that challenge a status quo. He also loves science fiction and fantasy and always on the look out for bold new voices in this space.
