Northern Writers’ Awards: Newcastle Roadshow

Join us as we launch the Northern Writers' Awards 2020 with advice for new and aspiring writers looking for publication opportunities. Hosted by New Writing North in partnership with Channel 4.
We’re delighted to be hosting an evening Writing for Television and Radio Roadshow in our beautiful home city of Newcastle upon Tyne.
This roadshow is for anyone interested in writing for screen or audio formats, no matter how much experience you may have.
Speakers will include Jayshree Patel and Taiba Amla, previous winners of our Writing for Television Awards, alongside experienced writers and producers for TV and radio.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
The Northern Writers' Awards are produced by New Writing North with support from Northumbria University, Arts Council England and a range of industry partners. The awards support work-in-progress by writers based in the North of England. You can apply for an award between 20 November 2019 and 6 February 2020. Find out more here
