Open Day: University of London MA Languages and Cultures Across Borders
Wed 4 Mar 2026 to Wed 4 Mar 2026
The intercollegiate MA in Languages and Cultures across Borders, based at Senate House London, brings together colleges of the federal University of London to deliver this postgraduate taught degree in the broad field of Modern Languages and Cultures.

The MA Languages and Cultures Across Borders draws on teaching, expertise and resources from across the federal university to provide a unique programme. Its cross-disciplinary nature makes it an ideal choice for students thinking about taking postgraduate studies in a range of disciplines, with a language option. A fresh language can be learned from scratch or an existing language skill can be developed further.

With innovative assessments, the MA allows students to develop an exhibition (physical or digital), a zine or a podcast, a piece of creative writing or translation with written commentary, or a research project outline. This offers students the chance to develop an even broader range of skills and present work in a creative way.

Funding: There are a number of studentships available, including three bursaries specifically for successful applicants to the MA in Languages and Cultures Across Borders.Apply by 19 March.
