Poetry has a way of touching our heart and emotions, and can provide a pathway to healing. We will do enjoyable activities inspired by beautiful poems, which encourage us to be more self-aware and practice kindness towards ourselves. You don’t need to be a poet to come to this workshop! As always in Writing for Wellbeing, whatever you write is the right thing for you – so you can choose either to write in prose or have a go at writing poems.
We will be doing writing activities designed to release the words within you in a positive and creative way. Our focus will be on mindfulness and calm. These enjoyable activities will help you learn to live in the present moment and find peace in everyday life. Writing for Wellbeing increases self-awareness, fosters clarity and insight, and lifts your mood.
