Poetry Fundamentals – An Online Course of 7 weekly seminars

The North Sea Poets is a collective of poets who as writers and teachers have established national and international reputations. These weekly seminars will be delivered by each member and will cover a broad range of topics, from critical reading, sources of inspiration, writing outside your comfort zone.
Students will have an opportunity to interact with the tutor through a Q&A at the end of the session. The series is suitable for both experienced and emerging writers.
The North Sea Poets are Don Paterson, Kathleen Jamie, Lisa Brockwell, Lesley Harrison, Niall Campbell, Karen Solie and John Glenday. We believe deeply in the importance of our artform to the culture, and we seek to foster the ideals of excellence as practitioners, curiosity as readers, and generosity as teachers.
