Poetry School: FREE AONB Ecopoetry Workshop with Meryl Pugh
Mon 13 Mar 2023 to Mon 13 Mar 2023
Come and join us on Monday 13 March at 6.30–8pm (GMT) for an incredible opportunity to be taught by Meryl Pugh! This is a FREE online workshop designed to help you enter the Ginkgo Prize.

How can we bear witness to the beauty of landscape as well as to climate change and environmental damage? How can we write about nature, if we don’t live in the country?

In this workshop, we’ll consider these and other questions. We’ll also read and discuss some examples of contemporary eco-poems, attempt some writing exercises - and hopefully come away with ideas for poems of our own.

Date: Monday 13 March 2023, 6.30-8pm GMT
Location: Online via Zoom
Cost: Free

Book your place via Eventbrite

These workshops are designed to help you enter and win the Ginkgo Prize for Ecopoetry (1st Prize £5,000, 2nd Prize £2,000, 3rd Prize £1,000). Submissions close at Midnight 25 March 2023! Enter here.
