Poetry School Seminars 2021-2022
Tue 5 Oct 2021 to Tue 21 Jun 2022
Monthly workshop groups around the UK and online taught by prominent poets.

Our seminars form a key part of our educational programme. Running throughout the year, these intimate workshops have helped many writers develop their work through long-term guidance and to become part of poetry communities around the UK.

In these courses, a small group of participants meet on a monthly basis to workshop their own poems-in-progress, discuss contemporary poetry and develop new skills and confidence, all under the direction and guidance of a published tutor.

Some of this year's seminars have places immediately available for new applications including the Zoom groups with Greta Stoddart, Antony Dunn and Phillip Gross.

Seminars meet monthly for in-depth discussions on poems-in-progress, with a tutor on hand to offer additional advice, guidance and feedback. Groups contain between six and eight students. A successful seminar group enables supportive critical friendships to develop, so you are encouraged to commit to all eight sessions.

As far as we can, we arrange seminars according to levels of interest and experience, and entry into these groups is by application only.

Most seminar groups start in October and run through to May/June, but exact dates, times and venues will be listed on each individual course page.
