Primadonna Festival Returns for its Sixth Year
Fri 26 Jul 2024 to Sun 28 Jul 2024
It’s time for yet another jam-packed weekend of books and writing, ideas and inspiration, music, comedy, wellness experiences and more, taking place from Friday 26 – Sunday 28 July 2024 in the rolling meadows of the Food Museum in Stowmarket. Weekend tickets are just £60, day tickets start from £20, and there’s camping (and glamping) too.
Join guests Doon Mackichan spilling the beans on her riotous memoir, My Lady Parts; Sinéad Gleeson exploring folklore and the feminine with her haunting debut novel, Hagstone; legendary music PR Jane Savidge on Pulp, Britpop and How Fame Can Let You Down; Irenosen Okojie on her captivating new novel, Curandera; Ela Lee (Jaded) and Chimene Suleyman (The Chain) as they delve into their hot new releases, the murky world of gaslighting and taking back control; and Helen Lederer as she shares her journey through the wild world of comedy in Not That I’m Bitter.
Peek behind the curtains with Bee Rowlatt‘s One Woman Crime Wave and Kitty Johnson’s Prickly Company where no secret stays buried for long; and travel from the tender embrace of queer romance to the boundless expanses of polyamorous connection with Michael Donkor’s new novel, Grow Where They Fall, and Cassie Werber‘s debut novel, Open Season, in conversation with The Feminist Book Society.
Or follow dedicated itineraries: workshops and up-close industry opportunities for writers; the best comedy, cabaret and music for music and performance fans; and a packed itinerary of books, storytelling, activities and festival experiences for kids and families all weekend long.
