Re-membering South Asian Feminist Poetics
Thu 7 May 2026 to Thu 7 May 2026
Join poet, educator, and creative practitioner Dr. Mona Manjot Dhaliwal for an immersive exploration of South Asian feminist poetics—where resistance meets reclamation.

Explore how feminist poetics can re-work, re-conceptualise and re-imagine social and cultural scripts. This workshop will investigate the dichotomies of stereotypes/subversions, oppression/refusal and observation/voice through the poetry of Kishwar Naheed, Fahmida Riaz and Amrita Pritam.

Expect a safe, engaging space to reflect, write, and share—whether you’re a seasoned poet or just beginning your journey.

The workshop will be followed by an open mic and opportunity to share your poetry.
