Join us at Holland House for an inspiring long weekend immersed in the art of picture book making. Whether you're polishing a manuscript, seeking inspiration, or wanting to learn from industry professionals, this retreat provides the perfect space to grow and create in a supportive and enriching environment.
This year we welcome the amazing author-illustrator, and Hans Christian Andersen Award nominee of 2026, Leo Timmers. Coming straight from Brussels, Timmers stars as this year's solo speaker, giving a fresh and eye-opening experience to both writers and illustrators.
We also welcome Stacie Bradly as our guest editor from Nosy Crow. Stacie specialises in picture books at Nosy Crow.
Start your day with energising yoga before diving into inspiring workshops led by expert faculty, designed to sharpen your picture book craft and industry knowledge. In the evening, unwind with colleagues and choose to engage in informal critique sessions and career advice in a relaxed setting.
