The Write & Shine spring programme is here! From 18 March to 29 April 2025, Write & Shine will celebrate springtime and short stories! In our early morning workshops, we'll explore the value of close observation in writing, with a focus on short fiction — often described as a 'glimpse.'
One of the highlights this season is the spring equinox event with poet and essayist Lavinia Greenlaw on Thursday 20 March. Lavinia will share her captivating experiences traveling the world to observe equinoxes and solstices.
Throughout spring, we’ll use the short story as a tool to strengthen and deepen our writing and our ideas. Whether or not you write short fiction, we're sure you’ll find plenty of inspiration!
Workshops will start early, with most beginning at 6:45am. All take place virtually via Zoom (UK time).
