Storywheel: The Cinderella Experiment: Changing our Stories
Sat 11 Feb 2023 to Sat 11 Feb 2023
Come and explore how the magic in Cinderella really works and how the stories we tell create magic in our own lives. This is a chance to engage consciously in a process that is so often subconscious, so that you can choose the stories you live by rather than the stories choosing you.
Do you have an unfinished project? Ideas that never quite make it? Give your inner critic a cup of hot chocolate and put them to bed as we take a fresh look at what Cinderella can teach us about what’s possible, and remember together that we had the answers all along. This is a game-changing session of interactive storytelling and visualisation.
Jacqueline Harris (Storywheel) is a storyteller, writer, theatre maker and creative practitioner specialising in British folklore and the embodiment of story. Following her research Masters on the transmission of stories at the University of Edinburgh, Jacqueline has published her third book, ‘The White Dobbie’, with artist Marjan Wouda, a collaborative project on story and landscape. She is currently working on her fourth book, developing a new writing/performance project around witches and landscape, and bringing her Storywheel workshops and courses on the stories we tell ourselves to a wider audience, both live and live-online.
