Discover how art can inspire super short stories with short fiction expert, Amanda Quinn.
Taking inspiration from the gallery, you’ll learn how to write compelling and complete stories in a few hundred words. You’ll be introduced to different ways to write flash fiction and learn tips and techniques to help you reduce your word count without losing anything from your story. There’ll be lots of writing time and the opportunity to share your work and receive feedback (if you want to). You’ll leave with some stories and ideas to work on as well as more information about the form, including where you might submit stories for publication.
The workshop is suitable for beginners or any writer who would like to explore the form in an inspiring and supportive environment. All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your favourite notebook & pen.
