Brighton's new LGBTQ+ Literature Festival (12-15 September 2019) is a collaboration between New Writing South, the writer development agency for the south east, and the Marlborough Theatre, the only theatre in the UK focusing on LGBTQ+ artists.
We’ve created this beautiful literature festival to bring a focus to LGBTQ+ lives through a programme of high-quality creative writing, performance and thinking from, and about, the LGBTQ+ community.
Speakers include
Juno Dawson (Margot & Me), C N Lester (Trans Like Me), Patrick Gale (Take Nothing With You), Eley Williams (Attrib. & Other Stories), Niven Govinden (This Brutal House), Emma Frankland (None Of Us Is Yet A Robot), Fox & Owl, (The Trans Teen Survival Guide), Jonathan Harvey (Beautiful Thing), Juliet Jacques (Trans, A Memoir) Kate Davies (In At The Deep End), Dean Atta (Black Flamingo), Sharan Dhaliwal (Editor, Burnt Roti), and Maria Jastrzebska (The True Story of Cowboy Hat & Ingenue) and Seni Seneviratne (Unknown Soldier).
