THE CURIOUS WRITER – Digital Creative Writing Workshops for Schools and Home Ed (KS2 & KS3)
Tue 7 Dec 2021 to Sat 31 Dec 2022
The Writers’ Block (Cornwall) has created a set of easy-to-use, creative writing workshops that are delivered digitally (and simply) in the classroom. The workshops are a series of pre-recorded videos led by published writers Wyl Menmuir (novelist, travel writer and literacy expert) and Anna Maria Murphy (Radio 4, Kneehigh Theatre).

These workshops have been designed specifically to combine and complement classroom learning and there is a series for KS2 and a more advanced set for KS3. The videos lead pupils through writing warm ups and provide tools to build character and create settings by using pictures, props and soundscapes. Each video can be paced to the individual needs of the class / group and can be a whole group exercise or assist one-on-one learning.

'They were extremely engaged and motivated. It was just what they needed after months of lockdown!'

Cost £125 one off purchase for a school, unlimited access
£45 for individuals or small groups for 6 weeks’ access

Special offer - thanks to the Crowdfunder that made this possible, schools & groups in Cornwall can purchase the workshop for only £45 until the end of July 2022. This allows unlimited access with no time restraints.
