The Museum of Loss and Renewal: Individual Residency Programme, Italy: Taking Time/Prendendo Tempo
Fri 1 May 2026 to Sat 31 Oct 2026
An Individual Residency provides uninterrupted periods of time for creative practitioners in the beautiful environment of Collemacchia in Italy’s Molise region. Residencies from May - October 2026.

Applications are open to creative practitioners such as visual artists, film makers, writers, poets, performance artists, curators, designers, craft makers, musicians, theatre makers and researchers who work either individually or collaboratively.

The minimum residency period is 2 weeks, however for the full benefit of all that the residency programme provides, a minimum period of 3 weeks is recommended.

There is no expectation of a final outcome of the residency. Whether you wish simply to be up close to your practice, allow nature to suffuse your thinking and feeling, produce new work or complete a project, at The Museum of Loss and Renewal the utmost will be done to ensure that you can achieve what you set out to do.

Apply now for 2026. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Final deadline for a 2026 residency is 1st October 2026.

Dates: Residency periods are available between 01 May and 31 October each year.
Location: The Museum of Loss and Renewal, Via Collemacchia, 86074 Filignano (IS), Italy
