Selected by the BBC as ‘one of the 12 artists that changed the world’, Ilya Kaminsky is an award-winning poet whose work confronts the atrocities of our time and our collective silence in the face of them.

Born in Odessa, Ukraine, he lives in the United States where he is Professor of Poetry at Princeton University. His collections include the ground-breaking Deaf Republic.

The lecture will be given at the Yoko Ono Centre in Liverpool at 7.30pm on the Monday 15 May 2023 and is free to attend. Book to attend the lecture here
