The Writers’ Conference 2020: Tickets now on sale!
Sat 28 Mar 2020 to Sat 28 Mar 2020
Presented by Writing East Midlands in partnership with University of Lincoln, The Writers’ Conference is back in March 2020, offering writers across the East Midlands access to leading professionals from across the industry on a dazzling day of inspiration, networking and practical guidance for writers.
Since we launched the conference in 2014, The Writers’ Conference has built a reputation as one of the region’s major literary events, attracting people from all over the country, and this year we are working in partnership with the University of Lincoln.
The event brings established and emerging writers together, providing an invaluable opportunity to make new contacts, learn about getting published, take part in workshops, be guided through the murky waters of funding, and apply to have work read by a nationally-acclaimed literary agent.
Sessions at the 2020 conference will include: The Synopsis Surgery, Social Media for Writers, How to Edit Your Work and Work with an Editor, The Publishing Process and Writing Short Stories – with more to be announced.
Date: Saturday 28th March 2020, 10.30am - 5pm
Venue: University of Lincoln, Minerva Building, Brayford Pool, Lincoln LN6 7TS
Tickets: £70/£65 Concs
All tickets booked before the end of January will have the rare opportunity to apply for a free one to one and have their creative work critiqued a nationally acclaimed literary agent or editor!
