The Year of Cooperatives Writing Workshops

Derby Poetry Festival CIC, supported by Central Co-op Membership, is bringing five free in-person workshops to Ripley, Derbyshire this autumn. Sessions will take place on Thursday evenings from 6 - 8 pm. Whether you're a seasoned pro or this is your first time attending a workshop, you're welcome to join.
All five workshops will have a similar format, including a warm-up, free write, an exercise to develop a craft, and writing time/prompt to put together a first draft. A guest facilitator will deliver some sessions, so whether you'd like to attend one or all, you will be able to create something new each time.
Participants will receive a goody bag of resources at their first session which will include a notebook, tote bag, pencil, and book.
These sessions are for participants 16+.
Dates: 11 September, 18 September, 9 October, 23 October & 13 November 2025, 6 - 8 pm
