This 10-week course is designed to sharpen the skills of students who already have experience of creative writing and of giving and receiving feedback in a supportive environment.
As well as engaging with their own writing practice through a series of class-based exercises, students are encouraged to look at the work of successful authors and discuss the techniques they’ve used to bring their writing to life.
Working in small groups, students are expected to share writing with their peers on a weekly basis and support each other in the creation of a piece of poetry or prose that is suitable for publication/competition submission.
All our tutors are published writers/poets or experienced editors.
Dates: 6pm – 8pm, 26 February – 21 May 2019 (includes a 3-week Easter break)
