Maame Blue - author of the award-winning novel Bad Love - is offering a selection of online workshops for new and emerging writers interested in learning more about writing short stories, writing about desire, and crafting complicated characters on the page.

Are you a new writer looking for help in refining a complicated character or relationship story? Maybe you want to learn how to write short stories? Or perhaps you’re just looking to upskill with a fun and interactive creative writing session? Book one of the writing workshops on offer and let Maame Blue help move your writing forward.

Maame Blue is a Ghanaian-Londoner, recipient of the 2022 SOA Travelling Scholarship, and author of the novel Bad Love, which won the 2021 Betty Trask award and was shortlisted for the Betty Trask Prize. Her short stories have appeared in two anthologies - Speaking Volumes anthology Not Quite Right For Us and the KYD New Australian Fiction 2020 anthology. Her writing will also appear in the upcoming children’s anthology Joyful, Joyful and she is currently working on a second and third novel in between running writing workshops and cautiously travelling.
