Award-winning children’s author Alan Durant and his wife Jinny are running their second three day course (11 - 13 August 2017) on writing for children at their house in Brighton. Each day will start at 9.30am and run through the day into the evening with a lively mixture of writing exercises, a course project (or two), full tutorials and plenty of opportunity to share and get feedback on your work. The course has been designed to suit writers for all ages of children and with different levels of experience. A delicious lunch and dinner plus drinks will be provided each day.

Alan is the author of one hundred books for children - from picture books to young adult fiction – and an experienced writing tutor for The Guardian, Penguin Random House and the Arvon Foundation among others. He also runs (with his wife Jinny) his own annual writing course in France.
