Write On Salisbury
Tue 19 Sep 2017 to Tue 28 Nov 2017
Join Angela Street for a pilot script writing workshop initiated by LinkUp Arts for artists with disabilities.
In these workshops we will discover writing that allows you to explore issues and personal development through the medium of words. Create dialogue, characters, sounds and scripts that give voice to your untold stories. Play with language and structure, have fun with comedy and get dramatic with your imagination... Write for yourself, or create pieces with publishing or production in mind.

The course will be led by Angela Street, an experienced workshop leader and resident artist at Salisbury Arts Centre. She holds an MA in Scriptwriting and works with writers throughout the South West. She has taught on the Open University Scriptwriting module and with many Community Groups. She set up She Writes and Juno Theatre for women theatre makers where she is now a consultant, and supports Salisbury Fringe which grew out of the enthusiasm of talented writers on the Salisbury Arts Centre course. Bring plenty of paper and pens, or laptop if that's your preferred method of writing.

Sessions take place at Salisbury Arts Centre, Bedwin Street, Salisbury SP1 3UT. The building is fully accessible, and the room has a portable loop system. If you have any specific requirements please contact the Project Manager as above.
