Writers' One-to-One is The Writers Bureau's mentoring service to help writers with their professional development.
Combining face-to-face sessions, either in person or by video link, with written comment writers will receive guidance that is personal to them and tailored to their individual goals.
The programme is suitable for those who are already working on a writing project such as a book. This can be fiction, non-fiction, poetry or short stories. Or, if someone has another project in mind they can contact the college to see if there is a suitable mentor available.
With a pool of writers to draw from, The Writers Bureau are confident they can match applicants with a mentor who is experienced in the genre the applicant wants to work in.
This programme is not for beginners. It is for those who are serious about their writing and have already invested time in their work. But, they don't need to have been published.
There is an application process and not everybody will be accepted onto the programme. This is an ongoing programme - you can apply at any time.
The standard programme costs £3000 inc VAT.
The Writers Bureau is a leading provider of distance learning creative writing courses. Many of their students have gone on to be published for the first time and have developed careers based around their writing.
