James Clarke, film maker, writer and lecturer, will be offering his insight at this free masterclass on how to write and develop the best short film screenplay you can.

About James Clarke
James Clarke has worked in community filmmaking and on a wide range of short film projects since 1997. James was educated at the University of Warwick and the University of Bristol.
He co wrote the short film Chasing Cotards which premiered at the IMAX in London and which has played at various film festivals in North America and Canada. He also coproduced a BAFTA-longlisted short film entitled Space Dance which screened originally at the Birmingham Film Festival and which was commissioned for tv broadcast.
Forthcoming projects that James has been involved with include a short film adaptation of The Tempest that he has been commissioned to produce and direct for The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. This short film premieres at the Shakespeare Film Festival in autumn 2013. James has also written a series of short film documentaries for the British Council about the work of Jane Austen and they have recently premiered in London and are due for online availability over this summer.
