Amanda Quinn writes short stories for women’s magazines including The People’s Friend and Woman’s Weekly. In this workshop, she’ll introduce you to the women’s magazine market including: How to find ideas (and avoid ‘well-worn themes’); What editors are looking for and what readers want to read; How and where to submit your stories.
There’ll be plenty of writing time and the opportunity to share your work and receive feedback (if you want to). You’ll leave with some stories and ideas to work on as well as all the information you’ll need to submit your writing for publication.
This workshop is suitable for beginners or anyone wanting to improve their skills in an inspiring and supportive environment. All materials will be provided.
