Come and join this four-week online course for women focused on writing mothers and motherhood narratives.
The relationship that we share with our mother is one that is endlessly fascinating, both for the good and the bad. Likewise, we are often drawn to writing about our experience of motherhood and mothering. But where do we start with both, or either?
Come and join this four-week online course where you will explore your relationship with your own mother, or motherhood, by drawing inspiration from those who have come before you.
This course is suitable for both memoir, non-fiction and fiction writers.
Over the course of four themed 90-minute sessions held weekly, we will explore through texts how other authors have navigated writing on these topics. Through exercises you will be invited to meet the target of generating 10,000 words of new writing over the month, and you will also join a Slack group of like-minded people also looking to explore their mother/daughter narratives.
The cost of this course is £225.
The next course commences on October 4th 2026, and there are still a few places available. Otherwise you can email to be added to the waitlist for the next course: annawharton@substack.com
