A week-long writing retreat with writer and creative writing tutor Ruth Brandt at the boutique Hotel Leone in one of Italy’s most picturesque regions. The course will focus on fiction writing and will be tailored to the interests of those who attend.
Views from the hotel include rolling hills dotted with vineyards, olive trees, historic hilltop villages and mountain ranges, and in the distance is the Adriatic Sea. An ideal location to get the creative juices flowing. Each of the hotel’s 10 bedrooms is unique, the staff are simply wonderful, and the food exceptional.
The course will focus on fiction writing and will be tailored to the interests of those who attend. Whether you are already working on a project, want to try something new, or simply want to try writing for the first time, you will receive guidance and feedback.
Ruth Brandt’s short stories and flash fiction have been widely published. She won the Kingston University MFA Creative Writing Prize, has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, Write Well Award and Best Small Fictions Award. Her prize-winning short story collection No One has any Intention of Building a Wall was published by Fly on the Wall Press in November 2021. She lives in Surrey, England with her husband and has two delightful sons.
