A one-day, intensive course for writers of all forms, genres, levels, and ambitions who are seeking inspiration and new creative methods to produce fresh ideas and original writing.
For any writer struggling to generate new ideas, think up new plot developments, and write about different or difficult subjects, this one-day, intensive course will support you in defeating your writer’s block and banishing the blank page!
Join award-winning author Clare Harvey and discover a unique and highly creative method of idea generation. At the beginning of this supportive and participant-centred workshop, you will share your objectives for the session, general writerly ambitions, and what you feel you are currently struggling with in your writing journey, before Clare guides you through the literary upcycling technique that will motivate you to produce new and exciting writing!
Over three hours, you will listen to, transcribe, and reflect on oral history recordings and use these to catalyse your own writing. Look forward to a creative, encouraging, and explorative workshop filled with unexpected ideas, heaps of imagination, and lively discussion among likeminded peers.
Our aim for the day is that you walk away inspired to produce fresh fiction and ready tackle the empty page!
