Writing Tree Summer School 2025
Thu 3 Jul 2025 to Thu 31 Jul 2025
The Writing Tree is an organization providing support and inspiration to writers. We’re offering three two-hour courses via Zoom this July, looking at character, epistolary fiction and writing with a relaxing summer theme. Join us for some dedicated time to enjoy and develop your writing. Enrolment open now.
The Writing Tree Summer School includes three freestanding classes: Creating Characters, Telling Stories Through Diaries and Letters and Writing for a Relaxing Summer. Each class is two hours long and is offered on a Tuesday afternoon or a Thursday evening. The sessions will include lots of exercises to help participants to develop their writing during and after the class.
The classes are led by Dr Helen Kenwright, founder and Director of the Writing Tree, who also teaches at Converge at York St John University and for the Lifelong Learning HE Cert at the University of York. The Writing Tree is an independent organization which provides support and inspiration to writers, especially new writers and including those who write mainly for pleasure and the love of words.
