There’s only one month to go until theAesthetica Creative Writing Competition 2013 deadline, which offers both existing and aspiring writers the chance to showcase their work to a wider, international audience. Now in its sixth year, the competition celebrates and nurtures creative talent, inviting writers to submit imaginative and original work in either category for entry: Poetry or Short Fiction.

Prizes include £500 prize money, publication in the Aesthetica Creative Writing Annual and a selection of books from partner organisations. Submissions previously published elsewhere are accepted and the deadline for entries is 31 August 2013.
